The Professional Training Institute (PTI) seeks to improve teaching effectiveness by providing unique training opportunities for education professionals. We offer research-based programs designed to help teachers and specialists meet the needs of students who require systematic and multisensory learning approaches.

Our presenters are adjunct faculty members of Fitchburg State University and our teacher training programs take place virtually through live synchronous instruction. Special arrangements also can be made for onsite, in-service workshops in school districts or collaboratives.

The Professional Training Institute is an Accredited Provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). PTI also is accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy for Orton-Gillingham teacher training at the Classroom Educator, Associate, and Certified levels. Massachusetts PDPs and graduate credits are available.
